How to Create ESXi Installer USB Flash Drive By Rufus.





Create ESXi Installer USB Flash drive, In this post, I will explain the way to produce a bootable ESXi Installer USB Flash drive. Some servers while not CD/DVD drive or remote KVM you would possibly need to use associate degree USB Flash Drive to put in ESXi to the hardware.

1.Connect your USB Flash Drive to your PC, go to your download folder and then open Rufus.



2.Select USB Flash Drive under Device Click the Browse button 
and then select VMware ESXi ISO file Under Partition, 
scheme choose MBR and for target system select BIOS or UEFI Type a volume label and then click Start.

3.A newer version can be downloaded by Rufus to fix this issue, click on Yes.


4.USB Erase data warning click ok.



5.Rufus will start to create bootable ESXi Installer USB Flash Disk. This will take a few minutes to complete the process.



6.after close the program, double check from your drive again!!

Get Root Access to your Cisco UC. There are many advantages of having root access to the system but there are some dis-advantages also unless you know what you are doing with your root access.  Root access can help you to gain access to the system files where you can fix issue if you know what files you need to modify.   Note: I don't recommend to try and apply it on your production server and will not be held for any damages that could occur in your system.
